Description

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For Serving:

  • Lemon wedges
  • Dipping sauce (such as remoulade or garlic aioli)

Instructions

  1. Season the Shrimp:
    • In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cayenne, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Cook the Shrimp:
    • Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until blackened and fully cooked.
  3. Finish & Serve:
    • Drizzle with lemon juice and serve hot with dipping sauce and lemon wedges.
