Description

Butterscotch Blondie Bars are chewy, buttery dessert squares bursting with caramel-like brown sugar and butterscotch flavor. These easy-to-make bars are perfect for bake sales, parties, or a cozy sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, stir melted butter and brown sugar together until smooth and fully combined.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly, then add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  6. Fold in the butterscotch chips evenly.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
