- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Cook berries: In a saucepan, cook blackberries over medium heat until soft, about 5 minutes. Mash with a fork.
- Add chia seeds & sweetener: Stir in honey and chia seeds. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Let set: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Let cool and thicken for 30 minutes.
- Store & serve: Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for up to a week.
