Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 500g beef strips
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml sour cream
  • 250ml beef broth
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 300g rice

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter and sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms until softened.
  3. Add beef strips and cook until browned.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the beef and stir well.
  5. Pour in beef broth and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
  7. Serve hot over the cooked rice.

Notes

  • Use chicken or pork as an alternative protein.
  • Serve with pasta or mashed potatoes instead of rice.
  • Add paprika for extra flavor.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat gently.
  • Use cornstarch instead of flour for a gluten-free option.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
