- 1 kg chicken wings or drumettes
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika or garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
- Pat wings dry. Toss with oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Remove wings from oven and brush generously with BBQ sauce.
- Return to oven and bake another 5–10 minutes until sauce is glazed and sticky.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides or dips.
Notes
- Use buffalo, honey-garlic, or hot sauce as an alternative to BBQ.
- For grilled wings, cook over medium heat for 20–25 minutes, turning frequently.
- Air-fry at 200 °C for 20 minutes, then toss in sauce and air-fry for 5 more minutes.
- Marinate wings overnight for deeper flavor.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven with extra sauce to retain moisture.
