Description

Juicy chicken wings coated in smoky barbecue sauce and served with fresh sides for a crowd‑pleasing dish.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 kg chicken wings or drumettes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika or garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
  2. Pat wings dry. Toss with oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through.
  4. Remove wings from oven and brush generously with BBQ sauce.
  5. Return to oven and bake another 5–10 minutes until sauce is glazed and sticky.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite sides or dips.

Notes

  • Use buffalo, honey-garlic, or hot sauce as an alternative to BBQ.
  • For grilled wings, cook over medium heat for 20–25 minutes, turning frequently.
  • Air-fry at 200 °C for 20 minutes, then toss in sauce and air-fry for 5 more minutes.
  • Marinate wings overnight for deeper flavor.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven with extra sauce to retain moisture.
