- 1 lb beef ribeye or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and brown sugar to create a marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let sit for 15–30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until caramelized and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes.
- In a separate pan, fry eggs to your preferred doneness.
- To serve, place warm rice in bowls. Top with BBQ beef, a fried egg, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately while hot.

- Use chicken, pork, or tofu as a substitute for beef.
- Kimchi rice or fried rice can be used for a flavor twist.
- Add sautéed vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
