- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce or slaw (optional)
- For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tbsp sriracha (to taste)
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Instructions
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dredge each breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden and fully cooked. Drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey (if using) to make the bang bang sauce.
- Lightly toast burger buns. Place lettuce or slaw on the bottom half of each bun.
- Add fried chicken on top and drizzle generously with bang bang sauce.
- Top with the other bun half and serve hot.

- Bake or air-fry for a healthier version.
- Use chicken tenders or thighs instead of breasts.
- Add spicy slaw or pickles for more flavor contrast.
- Brioche or pretzel buns enhance the sandwich experience.
