- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish or sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, vinegar, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
- Pat drumsticks dry and place them in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle olive oil over them and toss to coat.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the drumsticks, turning to coat evenly.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden and sticky. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for crispier skin.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
