Description

Baked Brie with Herbs, Garlic, and Honey is an elegant and gooey appetizer that combines creamy Brie with roasted garlic, fresh herbs, and sweet honey. It’s the perfect savory-sweet start to any gathering or dinner party.


Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 23 fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: 2 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Crusty bread, crackers, or sliced fruit for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the Brie in a small baking dish or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Score the top of the Brie in a crisscross pattern with a sharp knife.
  4. Sauté sliced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until golden and fragrant.
  5. Spoon garlic and some oil over the Brie.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped herbs, a pinch of salt, and black pepper.
  7. Drizzle honey over the top. Add chopped nuts if using.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the center is soft and gooey.
  9. Serve warm with bread, crackers, or fruit.
