Description
The Bacon and Egg Brioche Sandwich is a rich and satisfying breakfast sandwich featuring crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and melty cheese tucked inside a buttery toasted brioche bun.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 brioche buns, halved
- 8 slices bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 4 slices cheddar or American cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: avocado slices, hot sauce, or baby spinach
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- In the same skillet, lightly toast brioche buns cut-side down until golden. Set aside.
- Crack eggs into a bowl and whisk with salt and pepper. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and scramble eggs until just set and fluffy.
- To assemble, place a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each toasted bun, followed by scrambled eggs, 2 slices of bacon, and any optional toppings.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve warm.
Notes
- For a fried egg version, cook eggs individually sunny-side up or over-easy.
- Add sliced avocado or arugula for a fresh twist.
- Great for meal prep—wrap in foil and reheat in a toaster oven.
