- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup zucchini, diced
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 8 large lettuce leaves (butter lettuce or romaine)
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add ground chicken and cook until browned. Drain excess liquid.
- Stir in carrots and zucchini, cooking for 2 minutes.
- Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha. Stir well and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves and garnish with chopped peanuts and green onions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Use ground turkey or tofu for a lighter/vegetarian version.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
- Serve with extra hoisin or soy sauce for dipping.
