Description

A deliciously moist apple bread with swirls of cinnamon sugar and a sweet glaze on top.


Ingredients

For the Bread:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Apple Filling:

  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • Prepare Apple Mixture: Toss diced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Make the Batter: Beat butter and sugar, add eggs, milk, vanilla, then mix in flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Assemble: Pour half the batter into the pan, add half the apple mixture, repeat. Swirl gently with a knife.
  • Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Add Glaze: Drizzle over cooled bread and enjoy!

  • Use honeycrisp or granny smith apples for the best flavor.
