Description

Air Fryer Banana Donut Holes are soft, bite-sized treats made with ripe bananas and simple pantry ingredients. Lightly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, these healthier donuts are perfect for breakfast or snacking.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional: melted butter and cinnamon sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed banana, sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Mix well.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Lightly grease your hands and form small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) from the dough.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  6. Place donut holes in the basket in a single layer without overcrowding. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  8. Optional: Toss warm donut holes in melted butter and cinnamon sugar for a sweet coating.

Notes

  • Best enjoyed warm, right after air frying.
  • You can add mini chocolate chips to the dough for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes before serving.
