Description

Ground Beef and Potato is a hearty, one-pan meal featuring seasoned ground beef and tender sautéed potatoes, cooked with onions and spices for a comforting and budget-friendly dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef and cook until translucent and fragrant, about 3–4 minutes.
  5. Return cooked potatoes to the skillet and stir in paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes to combine flavors thoroughly.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve hot.
