- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (cremini or button)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp thyme (optional)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups frozen French fries
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven and cook fries according to package instructions.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill over medium heat for 5–7 minutes per side until cooked through and juices run clear. Set aside to rest.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté for 5–6 minutes until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add cream and thyme, and cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 4–5 minutes.
- Steam broccoli in a steamer basket or microwave until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Plate grilled chicken and top with creamy mushroom sauce. Serve with steamed broccoli and crispy fries on the side.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a dairy-free alternative for a lighter version.
- For added flavor, marinate chicken in garlic and lemon juice before grilling.
- Use air-fryer for fries to reduce oil content.
